The DSP held its first Conflict Resolution for Hospitality Training at the Spokane Library on Wednesday. The training, led by former Spokane Police Officer and current instructor at Fairchild Air Force Base Mark Howard, discussed basic de-escalation techniques that may be beneficial to anyone who regularly interacts with the public. Thank you to our neighbors from Nordstrom, Goodale & Barbieri Real Estate, YWCA SPOKANE, Sweet Frostings Blissful Bakeshop, River Park Square and Washington Trust Bank for attending!

"Remember back a few years ago when people were worried about parking, or that fans wouldn’t go downtown at night for high school events? Those fears were all unfounded... Everyone involved in the project should be proud of the way things worked out to give Spokane a marquee destination for outdoor sports downtown." True words from Dave Nichols' high school sports column this week in The Spokesman-Review. Like the rest of the community, the DSP is incredibly proud of ONE Spokane Stadium and everything it represents to the community. https://lnkd.in/gD-QYpGy
