#DowntownUpdate — road closures are in progress for two Downtown Detroit streetscape projects, led by the City of Detroit and Greektown Neighborhood Partnership. This marks the first phase of closures for the projects: Monroe Streetscape Project in Greektown — Monroe Street between Randolph and the I-375 Service Drive is now closed to vehicle traffic for the installation of the new streetscape, which is scheduled for completion in summer 2026. Randolph Streetcape Project in Downtown Detroit — construction for this project has also started. Randolph Street between Gratiot and Jefferson will remain open to vehicle traffic with lane closures and parking restrictions as needed. The Randolph Street Project is expected to be completed by end of 2025. #HowToAccess Greektown during construction: - Businesses along Randolph and Monroe Streets will remain open during all phases of the project. - Pedestrian access to Monroe Street and the greater Greektown will be maintained throughout the streetscape upgrades. - Entrance and exit from the parking garage at Hollywood Casino at Greektown will be unaffected by this work. - Greektown Casino parking garage will remain open and accessible from Macomb and Chrysler Service Drive entrances. - Additionally, street parking, People Mover, surface parking lots and garages will be available, allowing quick access to the Greektown District. Learn more about this project with the recent news from City of Detroit (LINK TO ARTICLE: https://lnkd.in/ghMtkdcB) #DowntownDet | #Detroit | #Downtown | #UrbanInnovationDetroit | #RoadClosure | #construction
