Doylestown Health has appointed Sean C. Reinhardt, MD, to the position of Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Reinhardt, a board-certified cardiologist and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, has been a member of the hospital’s medical staff since 2007. “I’m excited to take on this role, but personally, I’m looking forward to having an impact on the lives of our patients and the community I call home,” Dr. Reinhardt said, “The health and wellbeing of every individual we care for is incredibly important to me.” “Dr. Reinhardt is not only an excellent physician but has also shown himself to be a highly respected leader among his colleagues and everyone here at Doylestown Health,” said Doylestown Health President and CEO Jim Brexler, “I’m very pleased that he is joining my leadership team and accepting this critical role at such an exciting time in our organization’s history.” Dr. Reinhardt assumes the role of CMO following the retirement of Scott S. For the twelfth year in a row, Doylestown Hospital has earned a Grade “A” Rating from the Leapfrog group and is the only hospital in PA to earn 16 consecutive “A” grades. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade recognizes patient safety based on over 30 measures of preventable harm in the healthcare setting, as well as those systems hospitals have in place to maintain high levels of patient safety. “This award is in recognition of a true team effort.
