Hello, this is Dr. Dennis Kimbro and welcome to my global classroom. Today's millionaires look different from those of past decades, thanks to the rise of social media, podcasts, and influencers. The younger generation is turning their knowledge into real money, becoming self-made millionaires at an earlier age. Financial literacy is more accessible, leading millennials to invest aggressively, live frugally, and use technology to stay on top of their finances. As a result, the average net worth of American families has exceeded $1 million for the first time in our nation's history, a significant increase from 2019. The Federal Reserve has identified a growing group of "micro millionaires" who are on the verge of crossing the seven-figure threshold. In my research, I've identified 10 forms of wealth, and one key takeaway is that wealth is the byproduct of a specific mindset. Wealth creation involves not just what you know, but what you do with that knowledge. Economic security is achieved through a shift in mindset, focusing on creating wealth rather than merely worrying about finances. Financial independence is attainable, even for those living paycheck to paycheck. Becoming a millionaire is about transforming into the person who can accumulate wealth. This transformation is guided by nine Drivers of Wealth, a concept I explore in my book "The Wealth Choice." Remember, your mindset shapes your financial destiny.
