About us
Dream for America is a youth-led 501(c)4 non-profit focused on identifying, educating, and mobilizing America’s students to promote the principles of freedom, democracy, & progressive government. We’re building the most organized, active, and powerful pro-democracy grassroots network both online and on-campuses across the country. Together, we’ll mobilize a new generation of democracy defenders to take on far-right youth groups like Turning Point USA. Dream for America is focused on defending and reclaiming long-standing American values like freedom, democracy, patriotism, & a love for progress, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We believe that every young American can be illuminated towards real democratic values and inspired to usher in a new wave of pro-democracy progressivism echoing the visions of Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, & President Joe Biden. Against the backdrop of hateful and divisive far-right forces drawing young Americans towards extremism — Dream for America is here to chart a better course, offer young people a better vision for America, and reclaim the values of freedom and patriotism as an American value — rather than a conservative one. Students and young people across America are fed up with extremist ideologies that are tearing the fabric of our country apart, and we are waking up. Dream for America is working tirelessly everyday to actively engage with the culture and move the needle! The only way we fight fascism and defend democracy is to come together not as Democrats, not as Republicans – but as Americans, and as human beings first and foremost – to usher in a new era of politics not about division, but about solving the problems that we all share. With volunteers in all 50 states and hundreds of local chapters coming soon to campuses near you, Dream for America is the largest and fastest-growing progressive youth organization in America rivaling Turning Point USA.

We pray for the safety and well-being of former President Trump, his family, and all the rally-goers in Butler, Pennsylvania.
