Millions of Americans directly impacted by our criminal legal system can't vote this election season, so it's up to us to consider our friends, family, and community members as we head to the polls. Don't sit this one out, #vote for them! 🗳️

Democracy will never be fixed with one decision, one law, one election. Democracy is an ongoing conversation, something our CEO Nisha Anand knows well. We'll talk with anyone to make this country a better place for everyone. 🇺🇸

If you can dream it, you CAN do it. ✨ Accomplishing anything meaningful takes hard work and dedication. Even if you're not where you want to be right now, be proud of how far you've already come because it's not easy. #SecondChances

Everyone can dream, but not everyone is willing to DO. Our Phoenix Justice Next Cohort, in partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) Foundation, is ready to do both. We found 20 young leaders on Phoenix looking to find solutions for the housing crisis, climate issues, and mental health. Here they are during our first in-person training session on professional development and social justice advocacy. These young leaders are working hard and learning more about leadership, leveraging generative AI, and digital campaigning skills. We're so excited about their potential!

We’re a busy organization, and while some of our Dream Team were at our gala, Amanda Hall, John Bowman and Michael Bernarding were presenting at the Together We Thrive summit in LA. Amanda and John spoke on the importance of substance use disorder and reentry support programming in LA county jails as part of our broader #publichealthispublicsafety campaign. Michael explored the intersection between #tech, #law and criminal justice and how we can use new tools to dismantle old systems. We’re proud to spotlight the constant work our team does to make this country a better place for everyone. 👏🏽

It's been a week and we're not over it. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our inaugural #WeTheDream gala and making the night so inspirational. More importantly, thank you for supporting our dream for an America without poverty, prisons, pollution, and polarization.

If you need to believe in something, believe in yourself. You are your greatest investment. 💜 Just ask our Sacramento Justice Next Cohort, chosen in partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) Foundation. We found 18 young leaders looking for the housing crisis, gun violence, and mental health. Over the course of 7 weeks, they engaged in skill-building, leadership, and professional development – including sessions on leveraging generative AI, digital campaigning, and advocacy. The growth and insights gained during this program are a testament to the power of self-investment. Together, we can empower more leaders to create meaningful change in their communities!
