Over the summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to co-creative-direct a photoshoot for Dreamworldgirl Zine. 千禧時光機 (DAYS 0F SUMM3R) was born out of our sentiment and nostalgia for 2000s Hong Kong. It was such a fun and enriching experience from start to finish – from creating mood boards, sourcing costumes and props, scouting shooting locations, to overcoming unexpected challenges. I want to express my gratitude to Rachel Chu for inviting me to collaborate on this project and her trust, and to Daphne Bryant for giving it the green light. I also want to thank the fantastic team that worked on the shoot; it wouldn’t have been possible without them. Photographer: Tiffany To

Today Dreamworldgirl Zine, the publication I founded earlier this year, released official pictures from the VIXEN photoshoot we did with professional model, digital creator and influencer @darianka. I am still trying to wrap my mind around such a huge honor! When Darianka reached out to me about a possible collaboration, I knew I had to say yes. This is someone I grew up admiring, and I am so thankful for the friendship we've cultivated along the way. My exclusive interview with her, as well as photos from the shoot, will be featured in Issue 02 of Dreamworldgirl Zine, which is set to come out in February. The creative direction I did for VIXEN is the biggest credit in my portfolio yet, and I am very excited about what the future holds. Thank you to the rest of the amazing team that worked on this shoot: Photographer: Bridget Plate Location Scout/PD: Haley Morales BTS Photographer: Lia O'Brien

Over the summer I've been organizing a launch party for the Issue 01 release of my multimedia publication Dreamworldgirl Zine! I am proud and excited to announce that it was an absolute success. In collaboration with Sustainable Swaps, we took over the Boston Public Garden with live music, a friendly clothing swap, and so much more. We also completely sold out of print zines before the event was even over! I am so passionate about the future of this magazine and hope that you'll join us in our new, but exciting, journey.

This summer has been the most exciting, creative, and fun season. In less than four months Dreamworldgirl launched our zine, conducted seven photoshoots worldwide, started up a website and blog, and produced a stunning print issue. Now, it's time to celebrate. All are invited to our DIY Launch Party & Swap, which is set to take place on August 17th from 2-6PM! Here you'll be able to buy our first ever issue: DIY, but you'll also get to participate in a huge clothing swap, watch live performances by local acts, purchase merch including brand new stickers, get temporary tattoos and drink free Yerba Mate. It's going to be a great time, and you don't want to miss it ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗

Part II of “As Seen on TV”- Princess Diaries I was granted the wonderful opportunity to creative direct an original photoshoot Idea for the newly launched, multi media magazine for all things girlhood - Dreamworldgirl Zine. Launched this summer by my dear friend Daphne Bryant . I am incredibly grateful to have been allowed to participate in the zine’s first issue! This shoot, “As Seen on TV”, is a concept that takes popular films and tv shows and is reimagined with leads of color. Visualizing the leads of these iconic productions with individuals of color, will hopefully help other creatives see the need for more representation in media and the very real capabilities the BIPOC communities have to propel stories in a starring role. We took three different pop culture staples to reconceptualize that will be posted here, on my LinkedIn, over the next three days. If you’d like to see all three photoshoots ASAP, they are already posted on Dream World Girl’s Instagram: @dreamworldgizine Thank you so much to this incredible team: Photographer- Campbell Parish Stylist- Daphne Bryant Creative Director- Ana Victoria Justino-Isaac Model- Nicole Lin
