As I listened to Amy Cuddy speak at the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce last night about leadership & the science of "power", I resonated with feeling powerful & my authentic self when surrounded by people who encouraged this creative spirit in me. All the feels! 'Can't completely express the fulfillment in helping someone in their journey and seeing their success! As I talked to the students about their experience, I heard nine amazing stories. One of the students expressed the confidence that built over the 6 weeks. They came into the program never working a power tool in their life and left wanting to be an aviation maintenance professional! Wow that's powerful. Such a joyful sight to see the first cohort graduate from aviation maintenance pre-apprenticeship training at the Aviation Innovation and Maintenance center at Salina Airport. https://lnkd.in/g36Amz7q
