We are thrilled to announce a partnership with SKY ENGINE AI! 💻 The close collaboration between our companies will be aimed at utilising and developing AI-powered software, supporting the video game assets production process. The mentioned tool will use only inputs provided by our artists and obtained from legal sources, thus not breaking any copyright laws❗ How does it work❓ The partnership is aimed at utilising the 3D generative AI data simulation/synthesis engine, developed by SKY ENGINE AI, enabling synthetic data generation for deep learning and 3D assets for game dev purposes. The SKY ENGINE AI’s platform can analyse the game’s 3D assets with an option to create variants of these assets through 3D generative artificial intelligence (AI) methods. Tailored to game developers’ needs, the tool will generate 3D models, textures, and materials ready to be integrated with our game development environment. The whole concept of such a platform's feature is based on the assumption that it is supplied with creations (models, concept arts) of the game development team and external artists, treating them as a basis for the production of variants. This way, unlike most modern AI tools, the functionality will make use of legal sources, provided by the end user, thus not breaking any copyrights. How will DRKVRS utilise this feature❓ DRKVRS will stand as a testing environment for the platform - we will “feed it” with our team’s creations and use it to generate multiple versions of the mentioned assets while providing SKY ENGINE AI with relevant feedback along the way. This software as one of the tools in the production pipeline may optimise the video game production process for the whole industry. “This partnership with DRKVRS exemplifies our commitment to innovation. We are very excited about this product solution which addresses a long-standing issue for the game development community, and opens up a world of possibilities for tomorrow’s game-dev professionals, and beyond.” said Dr Bartek Wlodarczyk, CEO and Founder of SKY ENGINE AI. “The use of AI in the creation of game assets will not replace the creation and ideas but will save time and cost to create repetitive elements.
