Alissa brings more than 25 years of experience in drowning prevention, strategic planning, non-profit management and exceptional leadership. The NDPA remains committed to our mission and each of you as key stakeholders in our efforts to prevent drowning. The National Drowning Prevention Alliance Board of Directors wishes to announce that Adam Katchmarchi, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer, has resigned his position effective September 15, 2024. Dr. Katchmarchi has dedicated over a decade to the organization, beginning his journey on the Advisory Council. His commitment and leadership saw him move through various roles, including President, before ultimately and ably serving as Chief Executive Officer. His expertise in drowning prevention and his passion for uniting families, community organizations, and national safety groups have been invaluable. His exceptional skills and dedication has greatly advanced our mission and impact. The Board extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Katchmarchi for his remarkable contributions and leadership. We wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
