Yesterday, Ducks Unlimited was able to show staff from NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development the Grand Bayou Marsh Terracing project. The project is currently under construction in Plaquemines Parish and when finished will feature 90,000 linear feet of marsh terraces.
