Check out these beautiful shots of our job on A1A in St. Augustine! Our crews completed improvements to this area using about 250 tons of asphalt. This small quantity tonnage job has left a big impression for residents and tourists alike - these improvements were made to install a new pedestrian hybrid beacon (PHB) to help pedestrians more safely cross the busy A1A street!
The 30th Anniversary Celebration for the Child Cancer Fund was a great success last week! Guests enjoyed a seated dinner, cocktails, live music, silent auction and entertainment provided by international award-winning magician and mentalist, Mike D'Urzo! We are honored to partner with the Child Cancer Fund who provides practical, financial, educational and emotional support to our local Northeast Florida families battling childhood cancer.
Members from Duval Asphalt and Asphalt Testing Solutions & Engineering attended the NAPA/NRMCA/NSSGA Hill Day event last week in Washington, DC. The team met with Florida Senators and Congressmen including Rep. Aaron Bean and Rep. John Rutherford (both pictured). Conversations focused on key industry issues such as long-term, stable infrastructure investment. These conversations are so important to secure funding and growth for our industry and its workers as well as to grow our economy and keep America moving safely and efficiently! Following the meetings, Congressman Bean hosted the group on a tour through the Capitol Building! Definitely a highlight of the day! #NAPAontheHill
