❤️ seeing all of the continued impact of one of our 2024 grantees! https://lnkd.in/gTnnT7zW
👋 Anthony (black shirt) and Bryan (grey shirt)! 👋 We’re excited to put the spotlight on Anthony and Bryan, the talented hands behind all the cutting work at Esperanza Productions in recent months. Anthony has been working hard as he finishes his program with CrossPurpose an organization he truly loves. They’ve offered him incredible support as he transitions back into the workforce, and we’re fortunate to have him on our team. Bryan joined us temporarily this summer before heading back to school next week. He recently migrated here from Venezuela with his family and is currently finishing high school while applying for asylum. Anthony has trained Bryan on how to properly and safely use a vertical knife to stack cut production orders. One of the most important skills they’ve both mastered? Learning how to goof around while working! Here’s to Anthony and Bryan for their hard work, laughter, and dedication! #EsperanzaProductions #TeamSpotlight #CommunityImpact #JoyOfCreation #SupportiveEmployment

In our first-ever tie, The LoVVe Project and Work Options each received the same number of votes for this quarter's donation. Splitting this giving cycle's total funding, we're delighted to award each organization with ~$6,000 to support their work in providing fresh food to neighbors in the Virginia Village community and providing culinary training and support for sustainable employment.

Celebrating the growth, power, and impact of giving circles: " ...a different way of giving...giving boldly...giving with trust...giving with joy, and with one another..." https://lnkd.in/eis23YEQ
✨ Philanthropy Together CEO Sara Lomelin recently wrote in Fortune about the historic shift in financial power to women and how giving circles — an 84% women-led movement — is reshaping philanthropy! Inspiring. Uplifting. Unifying. So many positive words to describe these nonprofit groups and their passionate, strong leaders who shared with our group last night how they are supporting others through arts and creativity, culinary job training and connection, and providing healthy foods and building community. The only downside is that we can only support one group each quarter. Each organization is so worthy and is making such an impact in their areas of focus and their broader communities. The good news is that groups can be nominated again for future grant cycles -- and we all get to make meaningful and supportive connections. Members: Vote for this cycle's recipient by August 14. If you're not a member, yet, join now, donate, and vote by the deadline! Downtown Aurora Visual Arts The LoVVe Project Work Options
