Diversity by Doing (DxD) HealthTech reposted this
I am incredibly fortunate to have recently attended my second The MedTech Conference. I can't thank Diversity by Doing (DxD) HealthTech, MedTech Color, Ingrid Ellerbe, and Claudine Joseph enough for believing in students like myself to represent them and their work. The support that these organizations have provided me has enabled me to not only build connections and further my education, but allowed me to educate and work with others on diversifying the medtech industry and creating representative patient populations. I would also like to congratulate Maria Artunduaga, MD, MPH, MTM on winning the MedTech Innovator competition with her company, Samay. I first met Maria when she presented to my DxD Pathways cohort in the spring of this year, and it was lovely to see her hard work pay off with her respiratory monitoring device. As I continue to pursue a career in clinical research with interests in cardiology, events like these always leave me feeling empowered and eager to strive for a career in this industry. I'm looking forward to next years MedTechCon in San Diego, CA, and hope to see you there! #MedTechCon #MedTechColor #DiversifyingMedtech

What an honor! There's more work to do so let's keep going! Thank you Better Days Integrated Programs (BDIPs) for the recognition. Maria G. Cervantes, MBA was eloquent in her introduction and made my eyes "leak". My deepest appreciation to all who came out to support us.
