We have 36 manufacturing plants, including state-of-the-art initiation systems facilities in the United States, Australia and Mexico, and have the capacity to make one million tons of ammonium nitrate a year.     #blastoftheweek - This blast used 1 million lbs. of TITAN® Bulk Emulsion, NONEL® Initiation system and TROJAN® SPARTAN® Cast Boosters to assist a mine blasting overburden for contour reclamation. The blast design was 10.625-inch diameter holes drilled to depths from 20 ft. to 120 ft. with 17 rows of 60 holes in total close to 750 holes. The blast load time was over a 48 day period and produced no post-blast fumes. Drilled and loaded by our Joint Venture Partner, Buckley Powder Company Gillette and Billings Crews: Josh, Dave, Russ, Dustin, Burl, Jake, and Erik.

    Great to see 7NEWS Australia Toowoomba feature Dyno Nobel’s new fully automated electronic detonator plant at our Helidon manufacturing site. As Helidon’s General Manager, Operations, Paddy Wiggall says, the multi-million-dollar facility marks the most significant change to Dyno Nobel's Helidon manufacturing site since its establishment in 1988. Officially opened last week, the project is part of our commitment to the region, our employees and our customers and will play a crucial role in producing products vital to the mining and resources industry.

This project increases Dyno Nobel’s manufacturing capability of DigiShot® Plus.4G units, one of the world’s safest and most popular electronic detonator systems.
