We provide blasting solutions and quality explosives products throughout North America and Australia, as well as to selected customers in other countries. We have 36 manufacturing plants, including state-of-the-art initiation systems facilities in the United States, Australia and Mexico, and have the capacity to make one million tons of ammonium nitrate a year. Our employees include some of the most highly trained blasters in the industry. Our safety standards are among the highest in the industry. We rigorously apply internationally recognized safety standards at all our locations and in everything we do - from storage and transport to handling and use. Dyno Nobel traces its roots back to William Bickford's invention of Safety Fuse in 1831 and Alfred Nobel's legacy of safety and innovation dating back to 1865.     Last month, three members of the Dyno Nobel team had the opportunity to participate in the Institute of Makers of Explosives (IME)’s Research and Recruiting Symposium at the Colorado School of Mines. Chief Technology & Marketing Officer Braden Lusk was joined by Taylor Scheuerman from our Digital Product team and Michael Opp from our Corporate Engineering team as they met with students and discussed the many benefits of working in commercial explosives. We’re grateful to IME for inviting Braden, Taylor, and Michael and allowing our team to connect with students who are excited about our industry!

    Last week, Dyno Nobel Americas held the 2024 Regional Symposium at our Cheyenne, Wyoming site. Team members from many of our sites came together to share their improvement projects and compete for the best project of the year. Congratulations to our Carthage, Missouri site for taking first place in the technical category and Cheyenne, Wyoming site for winning the operations/production category. Our Simsbury, Connecticut site received the Presenters’ Choice Award, which was voted for by the teams themselves. We’re grateful to everyone who participated and are proud to recognize the hard work of all our teams!

    Dyno Nobel est fier d'avoir commandité l'événement #RidetoGreenstone organisé par Equinox Gold Corp. à l'occasion de l'inauguration officielle de la mine Greenstone à Geraldton, en Ontario. Notre équipe de l'Est du Canada a eu l'honneur de participer à l'inauguration officielle et d'accueillir les cyclistes à leur arrivée, après avoir parcouru 3 634 km en 24 jours depuis Vancouver, en Colombie-Britannique. À travers leur périple, l'équipe de cyclistes a réussi à récolter 1,3 million de dollars pour l'hôpital de district de Geraldton. Nous tenons à féliciter Equinox Gold Corp. pour cet accomplissement remarquable et nous réjouissons de poursuivre notre collaboration. Dyno Nobel was proud to sponsor Equinox Gold Corp. #RidetoGreenstone for the grand opening of Greenstone Gold Mine in Geraldton, Ontario. Our Eastern Canada team had the privilege to attend the grand opening and welcome cyclists as they arrived from the 3,634 km, 24 day trek from Vancouver, BC. The cycling team was able to fundraise $1.3 million to the Geraldton District Hospital.
