Stepping Up and Giving Back: A Fun-Filled Day at Ability Plus As part of our EPIC 35th-anniversary celebration, we had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at Ability Plus, a non-profit that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities in North Alabama. Our team joined in on the fun with some line dancing (choreographed by our own Akilah Hines!) and a lively game of kickball. Making a Difference: Our Team's Impact at the North Alabama Food Bank We're incredibly proud of our team for their hard work and generosity at the North Alabama Food Bank! As part of our 35th anniversary celebration, we split into groups to volunteer our time and make a positive impact. Together, we completed seven pallets, packed 350 cases, and contributed a total of 10,150 pounds of food. This will provide 8,458 meals to those in need. It was a truly fulfilling experience to give back to our community and support their mission of providing food for those in need. Staffing Consultant, Courtney G, was one of our dedicated volunteers. In the photo below, she's receiving expert guidance on planting seeds in their impressive hydroponic facility. Did you know that it would take a massive 27-acre plot of land to produce the same amount of lettuce that Manna House grows in their hydroponic garden?
