Fall is here! And that also means wildlife can become more active!🍂🦌🛣️ In an effort to save and protect lives, E-470 utilizes deer fencing to reduce vehicle-wildlife collisions on the road. Swipe to see some deer we've seen around E-470. Keep an eye out for deer, pronghorns, and coyotes as you drive around! Be sure to slow down, stay alert, scan ahead, and always wear your seat belt. #E470 #Fall

As summer comes to an end, our interns shared their final presentations with the E-470 Board of Directors. The board was impressed by Anna Durr and Josephine Foote and all the work they’ve done over the summer months! Great job ladies, we appreciate everything you did this summer and know you will do amazing things in the future! #E470 #interns

Tour our new Central Maintenance Facility! 🛣️ A few more fun facts: - Recycled asphalt was utilized in the parking lot and laydown yard. - EV chargers. - All roofs are solar-ready. This beautiful new facility will accommodate the Authority’s maintenance needs for many years to come as we add lanes and interchanges to accommodate the traffic growth. Last week, we celebrated our new Central Maintenance Facility! 🎉✂️🛣️ This major milestone was made possible by the collaboration of our wonderful partners, D2C Architects, Inc. and JHL Constructors! Our beautiful new facility will accommodate the Authority’s maintenance needs for many years to come as we add lanes and interchanges to accommodate the traffic growth. E-470 started this journey back in 2020 when we sold the old Central Maintenance Facility to the Aurora Highlands Development. Per the sale agreement, we had a deadline of October 2024 to vacate the old CMF so we had to get the new CMF designed, permitted and built in that timeframe. Mission accomplished and even a couple months ahead of schedule! Congratulations to all the project teams on a job well done! 👏 You can learn more about our projects here: https://lnkd.in/dFCfYfyR
