About us
The Early Educator Investment Collaborative (The Collaborative) is a group of national ECE-focused funders who envision a country in which opportunity and achievement gaps no longer exist so that all students, especially children from families with low incomes and children of color, make significant and sustained gains in cognitive, social, and emotional development. Achieving this vision requires ensuring that every young child has access to high-quality ECE programs led by well-prepared and appropriately compensated teachers. The Collaborative hopes to drive toward this vision by addressing the inadequacies and inequities of current ECE systems, with a focus on breaking down the barriers due to systemic racism and sexism and addressing gaps in workforce preparation and compensation/financing systems.
