A couple weeks ago, our Executive Director, MaryJane Mudd was invited by Kuraray America, Inc. and IBR Chairperson, Richard Bass along with a number of industry leaders to meet #congressman Dr. Brian Babin and tour the Plant processes and research. The collaboration included American Chemistry Council, Texas Chemistry Council , EHCMA. IBR CEO Willie Wells was grateful to have been a part of this #collaborative effort of Industry colleagues.

East Harris County Manufacturers Association representatives recently met with Josh Sanders, City of Houston Director of Intergovernmental Relations, to discuss mutual priorities and develop a relationship with the City’s administration. EHCMA Board members Dirk Perrin, CP Chem, and Chad Moody, Arkema, joined EHCMA Public Information and Public Policy Co-chair Sara Cronin, TPC, and EHCMA Executive Director MaryJane Mudd to discuss the value petrochemical industry members bring to society. Sanders shared the City’s priorities, including the exceptional need for an improved water infrastructure in the region.
