Last week, individuals who participate in Day Services collected donations for local veterans through The Flight for Bataan in support of Honor Flight of the Ozarks. This was a unique opportunity not only for individuals we support to give back to the community, but for the community to learn more about those in our programs! Yesterday, we presented a check for $1,889.86 to The Flight of Bataan, bringing their total fundraising efforts above $50,000! https://lnkd.in/gFPcTYkW

We attended Disability Rights Legislative Day on February 26 at the Missouri State Capitol, joining individuals with disabilities, families, and advocates in promoting disability rights. A group of self-advocates accompanied team members to share their personal experiences and highlight critical issues like accessibility, employment, and support services. The event provided an opportunity for these individuals to use their voices to influence policy and create meaningful change. Thank you to all the advocates who joined us in making your voice heard at Disability Rights Legislative Day! #FridayFeature
