Appointed to the Commission by the Governor, Laurie is committed to advancing aging-related initiatives, working closely with the Executive Director to inform legislators and the Governor about critical aging issues. With a rapidly growing senior population—by 2030, more than 30% of NH will be over age 65—the Commission is focused on strengthening systems of care, supporting direct care workforce growth, elevating a multisector plan for aging, and ensuring our state is prepared for the future. Make a profound impact on someone’s life! Easterseals NH is seeking community members who are interested in becoming home care providers for its Shared Living Residential Services program. Providers open their homes to individuals with intellectual disabilities or acquired brain injuries and embrace them as part of their family, fostering inclusion and well-being. Each provider receives round-the-clock support from a dedicated team of program managers, nurses, and clinicians employed by Easterseals NH’s Community-Based Services. Easterseals NH works closely with potential providers to find suitable matches that achieve and maintain permanency. Each provider is compensated with a daily rate for their services and 30 days of respite leave per year.
