Today marks the start of a new era of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa as we say farewell to our former owners of 20+ years, the Lewis family, and welcome our new owners, the Ellison family. As we embark on this journey, we are thankful for the hoteliers who have embraced the vision and values of this resort and who will continue to build on the legacy that we created together with the Lewis family. Yesterday's Hotelier Health Fair was a roaring success! Our team had the opportunity to engage with a fantastic lineup of vendors, from chiropractors to dermatologists, gyms to mindfulness experts, and even adorable puppy adoptions. A big thank you to all who participated in promoting wellness in the workplace!

Some say it’s like riding a bike. And others, well, maybe they never had a bike? But what holds true is everyone who attended our Family Skate Night to kick off the summer had a great time!What makes our Hoteliers stand out (besides their skills on the roller rink?) When you take care of your people, they are more willing to take care of their guests… and our talented group of Hoteliers are passionate about the service they provide, day in and day out!

Set your team up for success! Give them the tools they need to succeed! As part of our training and onboarding, our Hoteliers are required to attend a series of Forbes training sessions that cover the classifications and standards required to maintain our Five-Star rating from Forbes Travel Guide. Once completed, we celebrate this journey by awarding them their Five-Star pin, which becomes a part of their uniform. Today we celebrated this group of Hoteliers and are excited to bring them on our journey in providing memorable and personable experiences to our guests. #ThrowbackThursday (is that still a thing)… Throwing it back to last Thursday (it might have taken our volunteers that long to recover)…when we celebrated 42 of our hoteliers children for Take Your Children to Work Day! From games to reptiles, from pizza to cupcakes, ice cream and lobsters. We played, we learned, we made virgin daiquiris by bike! I think with 358 days to rest…our team will be ready to celebrate this day again next year!

The amazing team from Breeze Ocean Kitchen at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa was out there last night at American Cancer Society’s Fork Cancer Event at the Norton Museum of Art! Thanks to Chef Neall Bailey CEC, Chef Michael Denofrio and Bryan Long for supporting the fight against Cancer!
