We are excited to welcome Ryanne Schaad to the Ebb & Flow Counseling + Coaching team! Ryanne is a doctoral student in the clinical psychology (PsyD) program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. With a bachelor's and master's degree from Saint Joseph's University, Ryanne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in reproductive health psychology. Her expertise includes helping patients cope with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, as well as stressful reproductive events like infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and NICU admissions. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based interventions, Ryanne is dedicated to supporting her clients through challenging times. As a pre-licensed clinician, Ryanne is offering reduced rates with immediate availability. As 2023 ends and a New Year begins, I am reflecting on the first year of business for Ebb & Flow Counseling + Coaching. Launching my private practice in January 2023 and growing into a small group practice over the last few months has been incredibly fulfilling. I appreciate each of you as part of my professional network; whether you have referred clients, consulted on cases, provided professional guidance, or wished me well in my private practice endeavors.   Ebb & Flow Counseling + Coaching will continue to thrive and grow in 2024. My long-time mentee Dr. Rachel Brookland joined the practice full-time on November 1st and I am thrilled to have her on board. We look forward to expanding coaching services for clinicians in healthcare, continuing a full range of services for individuals and couples seeking 3rd party reproduction, serving even more LGBTQ+ clients building their families, conducting psychological evaluations for women interested in donating their eggs or becoming a gestational carrier, providing couples counseling, and offering accessible and affordable mental health counseling with our pre licensed clinicians, Farren Schmidt and Gabriela Bevacqua-Collins. Additionally, Dr. Brookland is now credentialed with Highmark/Blue Cross Blue Shield and can see individuals and couples desiring to use their insurance.   Thank you for being a part of our first year in private practice. We are thrilled to introduce our latest team member, Farren Schmidt, MA. Farren is joining us as a master's level pre-licensed therapist! Her passion for helping others, coupled with her extensive field experience, promises to be a valuable addition to our team. Farren holds a Master's degree in Counseling from George Washington University, is a certified National Counselor, and completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies at James Madison University. She has also recently completed Post-Masters credits in Resiliency at EMU. With over 15 years of experience in school-based counseling, Farren has dedicated her career to assisting adolescents in overcoming challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, and relationship issues. She is now eager to apply her expertise to the adult population. Farren's Client-Centered approach places your perspective at the forefront. She is committed to listening, providing support, creating a safe space, and guiding you towards resolution. While employing various counseling techniques, she particularly values the strengths-based approach to help you discover your strengths, develop your skills, and empower you to achieve your desired changes.
