Yesterday, ECHO-Chicago and the Tongji University School of Medicine successfully launched the first ever ECHO program in China. This landmark achievement represents a significant milestone that would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of the CYRUS TANG FOUNDATION and the UChicago Global Center in Beijing. We look forward to continuing our work together to strengthen primary care in communities across Shanghai and beyond.

Since last year, ECHO-Chicago at the University of Chicago has been working with the Illinois Department of Public Health to build community capacity to support implementation of evidence-based best practices for suicide prevention, identification of individuals at risk for suicide, and provision of treatment support for those at risk. ECHO-Chicago is offering three special sessions to raise awareness on the Zero Suicide framework.
