🏃♂️🏅 ECI Group at the Louisiana Marathon! 🏅🏃♀️ Last weekend, January 18th and 19th, our incredible ECI Group team members took on the challenge of the Louisiana Marathon! With four distances on offer—5k, Quarter Marathon, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon—ECI Group was proudly represented in each race. Our employees had an amazing time, showcasing their determination and team spirit. ECI Group recently had the pleasure of hosting a visiting team from Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd. (YECC) at our offices in Manchester for the Final PDP Review Meeting. 🏢📝 ECI Group is providing YECC with a licensing package for a 150kta copolymer plant using our proprietary hybrid reactor technology. This project marks the first 150kta iteration of our license and, thanks to excellent collaborative approach with our client and cooperation at all levels, the final PDP was delivered in record time. ⏱️✨ By completing this critical project milestone more than two months ahead of schedule, we’ve enabled our client to progress the key aspects of their project. In exciting news, the High-Pressure Separator for a new LDPE/EVA plant in Central Asia, is on its way to site! 🗺️ Currently en route from the manufacturing facility in Europe, the vessel is based on Versalis proprietary know-how and will be installed in a new greenfield LDPE/EVA plant using Versalis-licensed technology. ⚙️ ECI Group was responsible for the engineering, procurement, and supply of the vessel and all associated relief devices and instrumentation. This week our Subject Matter Experts completed successful Technology Risk Assessment (TRA) sessions for one of our HPPE licenses in China. 🌏 Led by Tom Owens, ECI Group’s HPPE Technology Leader, our HPPE Business & Technology Director, Chris Brock, our Consultancy Services Director, Francisco Larenas, and the team worked towards analyzing and mitigating risks associated with commissioning a high-pressure copolymer plant. 🏭 TRA’s are a critical component in ensuring preparedness and risk minimization prior to unit startup, and what better way to ring in the holiday season than by ensuring safety and success for our clients? 🎄✨ At ECI Group, we understand the importance of thorough, experience-based risk assessments to ensure smooth and safe polyethylene plant startups. ECI Group’s Director of Sales and Business Development Abhi Shivraj delivered a presentation at the LDPE Technical Seminar in Tokyo today, using a series of in-depth case studies to showcase ECI Group’s offering for operating plants. These services are of particular interest in Japan where the majority of HPPE lines have been operating for 40-50+ years. The LDPE Technical Seminar also included presentations from Uhde High Pressure Technologies and Jansen + Tetenborg - Vibration and Pulsation Consulting, covering a range of relevant topics and common issues.
