About us

Founded in 2012, EcoSouth Services provides transportation and disposal services for businesses that generate large quantities of non-hazardous solid and liquid industrial waste throughout the gulf coast regions of Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Since its inception, EcoSouth Services has maintained a sterling compliance and safety record. A recipient of the Partners for Environmental Progress 2017 Environmental Stewardship Award, EcoSouth Services was honored for donating time and equipment to help the City of Prichard with the abatement of 53 blighted structures and 12 lots adjacent to condemned property. The project saved the city more than $150,000 and helped improve living conditions throughout Prichard’s urban neighborhoods. EcoSouth Services is a member of the Partners for Environmental Progress, Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, and Manufacturer Alabama, the only trade association in the state dedicated exclusively to the competitive, legislative, regulatory and operational interest and needs of manufacturers and their partner industries and businesses.

Our thoughts are with all our Florida neighbors as Hurricane Milton approaches. Due to the storm, please be advised that EcoSouth hauling in Sarasota, FL will be closed on Wednesday, October 9th. The safety of our customers, employees, and families is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and will notify customers of any additional changes to our services as conditions evolve. Please stay safe — we’re in this together.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by Hurricane Helene this past week. 💙 We were proud to donate containers to assist a small business group with cleanup efforts on Siesta Key, and are especially proud of our crew who provided additional support. It's in moments like these that we see the true spirit of community shine through.

🌟 Shout-out to our teammates, Aaron and Altrevino, who conduct our morning fleet walks! Each week they check the trucks from top to bottom to ensure all parts including the cab, compressor parts, brakes, and back up alarms and cameras are all in working order. We are so appreciative of this crew who ensures the safety of our team and community!

🌱Did you know: A common misconception is that compostable and biodegradable are the same thing! Compostable items break down into non-toxic components, while biodegradable items may leave behind harmful residues. If you compost at home, be sure to avoid putting biodegradable plastics, synthetic fibers, or chemically treated items in your compost. Disposing of these items in your regular trash or via special programs is instead the best place for these!
