A big round of applause is in order for Deanna, who is celebrating her 22nd anniversary at Edgewood! 🎉👏🙌 Deanna, originally from McClusky, ND, moved to Bismarck in 2002 after her son graduated high school. She soon joined the Dominion family as our dedicated housekeeper. When she's not at work, Deanna loves spending time out on the farm, working on projects, and keeping busy with various odds and ends. One of her most cherished memories is traveling to Washington for her sister's wedding—a vacation she’ll never forget! Thank you for the last 22 years, Deanna! We're so grateful for your dedication to our residents and to have you on our team! 👏🎉🎉

Congratulations to Jenny, who is celebrating 13 awesome years with us! 👏🎉🙌 Jenny is a housekeeper at Edgewood Brainerd and loves her residents and team; “I’ve been with Edgewood for 13 years, and it feels like I’ve found a whole new family! I LOVE my job, working with the residents and staff. I love helping everyone out.” When she's not at Edgewood, you can find Jenny enjoying Black Powder Rendezvous events, where she gets to learn about the 1800s. At one of the events, she tried her hand at double axe throwing for the first time and won 3rd place in the competition! You can also find her hanging out with her beloved dogs in her spare time. Thank you so much, Jenny, for all your hard work and dedication in helping your team make Edgewood Brainerd a great place for our residents to call home! 🎉🎉

Congratulations to Emily, who is celebrating three years with Edgewood- Virginia!🎉🎉 Before joining Edgewood, Emily worked in group homes and the mental health field for many years. She wanted a change and became a CNA at Edgewood. Then, she moved into the receptionist role, and the rest is history! Emily enjoys being a helper and truly values those who spend their lives in the service of others like doctors, nurses, social workers and caregivers. “I love getting to know the residents and staff, I enjoy helping others, and usually someone makes me laugh every day which is important.” In her spare time, you can find Emily spending time with her kids singing, watching her favorite movies (Bridesmaids and Anything with Madea), and anxiously awaiting the fall season to celebrate all the fun of Halloween, which is her favorite time of year! Thank you SO much, Emily, for your three years with us! We appreciate you and look forward to many more! 👏👏

In her free time, Stevie enjoys cooking, baking, sewing, and crafting. She also has a special love for Christmas and never misses a chance to watch The Notebook. Give it up for Michelle, who is celebrating a lucky 13 years at Edgewood in Spearfish this month!🙌👏 Michelle started at Edgewood as a part-time marketing assistant and part-time business office assistant in September 2011. She moved into the role of the business office director and, from there, took on the executive director position in July 2016 (coincidentally, on the day of her 50th birthday). Like many of our staff, she LOVES the residents: “I always loved working with seniors and feel it is such a rewarding and fulfilling job. On the day of my interview at Edgewood, I asked for one thing: it has to be more than just a job for me, and it certainly is.” When she’s away from the community, Michelle can be found camping and bowling with her husband, family, and grandchildren. Thank you for 13 wonderful years, Michelle! We appreciate all of your hard work to make our residents days brighter!! 👏🎉🎉
