Did you know that the annual turnover rate for a School Superintendent is between 14-16%? The average Superintendent's tenure is just 5-6 years. And these stats were pre-COVID-19! In conversations with school leaders, a major concern arises - similar to the teacher shortage, there's a shortage of qualified principals and administrators. The cost to districts is staggering; approximately $75,000 is spent preparing, hiring, and placing a new leader into the position. Why such high turnover? The pressure on these roles is immense. School leaders are struggling and need our support. They often can't get the necessary support from their staff or family members.
