Our recent project with Genoa Christian Academy near Westerville, Ohio is a terrific example of our mission: to create learning environments that positively impact the lives of students! Genoa Christian Academy opened their new Middle School this summer, with the goal of creating spaces that truly cater to the needs of their students. The new spaces are not only functional but also inspiring! Through our Radically Student Centered™ Approach, we ensured that every space was thoughtfully designed to enhance student learning and well-being. Kay-Twelve was honored to partner with them in designing and furnishing key areas of their new campus, including the cafeteria, outdoor dining space, all classrooms, science labs, art room, teachers lounge, and music room. The impact of this project has been profound, positively affecting 636 students and bringing us a step closer to our 10-year target of impacting 10,000,000 learners. #KayTwelve #BeTheChange #YouBelongHere #RadicallyStudentCentered#StoriesInspireChange #GenoaChristianAcademy

Our Radically Student Centered™ Approach is all about working on projects earlier in the process so that we can make the best impact as possible. But what are the common threads to making these projects a success? To start, a team alignment, trust and a passion for improving and driving a lasting change in education within a community. Keep this in mind as we continue this series about our process, why it works, and why it's so important to us. #KayTwelve #Inc5000Company #TransformingEducation #BeTheChange #RadicallyStudentCentered #StoriesInspireChange #YouBelongHere

    Vice President @ Kay-Twelve

If you had asked me 2.5 years ago what I’d be doing now, Kay-Twelve wouldn’t have even crossed my mind. But with a sweet nudge from a beautiful friend and colleague, I walked into an opportunity that’s been more than just a job—it’s become a place where “we want you to thrive, not just survive” is more than a slogan; it’s a way of life. I remember in my very first conversation with Adam Craddock, I told him, “We are going to be best friends.” Little did he know, by “best friend,” I actually meant “thorn in his side!” But all jokes aside, the connections I’ve made here are more than just professional; they’re meaningful friendships that have made this journey even more rewarding. Joining Kay-Twelve was stepping into a world I didn’t fully realize I needed—a world where transforming learning environments is at the heart of everything we do, but where there’s also space for everyone on the team to grow and shine. Over the past two years, I’ve seen firsthand how intentional design and thoughtful approaches can turn ordinary spaces into environments that empower students and educators alike. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a company that not only prioritizes innovation and creativity in education but also genuinely cares about the growth and well-being of each team member. I’m looking forward to the continued journey of making a difference in the educational spaces we serve, while also continuing to thrive in a place where passion, purpose, and support are always front and center.

It was an honor to celebrate the opening of the new Lewis C. Cassidy Academics-Plus School today with the Operations Division, the Board of Education, elected officials, developers Perryman Shoemaker and Ewing Cole, students, parents, and community advocates. They have all played a crucial role in bringing this vision to life. We aren't only cutting the ribbon, but we are also opening the doors to a brighter future for our students and our community. On August 26th, more than 600 students from pre-K to 8th grade will start their educational journey here in this nearly 88,000-square-foot, three-story building. Looking forward to the incredible possibilities that lie ahead for our scholars as they imagine and realize any future they desire. #PHLED

Inspired by Jesse Cole, owner of the Savannah Bananas, this mentality fuels our Radically Student Centered™ Approach. We believe in reinventing education by placing students at the core of every decision. This means constantly testing boundaries and challenging conventional norms. Is it easy? No. The world is evolving every day, and so are the educational needs of our students. When Jesse Cole created Banana Ball, it wasn't easy either. It's about doing what's best for our kids. Our promise through our Radically Student Centered™ Approach is to ensure that students always drive our decision-making process. And our fan base? The change-makers in education who are passionate about improving education and providing the best possible experience for our kids. Are you a fan of improving education?

Mission-Driven Entrepreneur Focused on Improving Education: @Kay-Twelve, @Education Leaders' Organization, @Better Learning Podcast

My first job out of college was driving the Eckrich Fun House. (Think Oscar Mayer Weinermobile, but much cooler.) It was a big yellow truck with a smiley face in the front and hot dog bumpers. There was a pop a shot in the back of the truck and a commercial grade kitchen inside. We would pull out a grill on the side of the truck and grill smoked sausage at local events as we drove it around the country - raising money for local food banks. I continued working for the marketing company and drove a PT Cruiser wrapped for a new Twizzler’s product. I always wondered if the average person would be willing to drive a vehicle that promoted a company - or even their own company. Taking the lead from Chris Ronzio and then Michael Erath - it sparked a similar idea. Do you want to promote your company or the car dealer with your license plate holder? It’s free marketing and a true sign of being the first fan. If I’m not willing to be a fan of my company, then how could I expect others to?
