State Representatives Shelby Labs (R-143) and Craig Staats (R-145) visited Bucks County Community College today to learn about short-term certificate programs that prepare students for in-demand jobs that pay family-sustaining wages. They toured the Center for Advanced Technologies (CAT) and the Lower Bucks Public Safety Training Center in Bristol Township. CAT programs, such as welding and industrial maintenance, have a more than 90% job-placement rate, while the PSTC trains firefighters from all 50 states and around the globe. We are grateful for their interest and support.
