A recent asphalt tank cleaning project by EISCO involved the removal of 780 tons of material from a 130-foot diameter PGA asphalt tank. In addition, EISCO performed a 40,000 PSI cleaning of the tank’s entire wall (19,548 sq. ft.) and floor (13,267 sq. ft.) surfaces in preparation for API 653 inspection. EISCO conducted 40k water blasting in extremely low temperatures—down to 2 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure the project was completed efficiently and on schedule, a specialized heating unit was used to maintain optimal temperature and work conditions inside the tank throughout the process. #PGA #TankCleaning #EISCO #AsphaltTank #40kWaterBlasting #Project #DigOut #SubzeroTemperatures #SuccessfulProject
