El Camino Health has been recognized as one of the Best Hospitals for 2024-2025 by U.S. News & World Report, ranking as the top community hospital in the San Jose metropolitan area. The annual list, now in its 35th year, recognizes hospitals for excellence in clinical outcomes, nursing care and patient safety practices.

Congratulations to our chief information officer Deb Muro who won the 2024 BayAreaCIO ORBIE Award in the Large Enterprise category. Deb was among those technology executives recognized by BayAreaCIO in seven key categories last Friday at the San Jose Marriott. Joining Deb at the reception were CEO Dan Woods and IT team members Kara Marx, Kristy Ikerd, Bradley Miller and Cole Klinchock.

Tuesday, October 15 is National Pharmacy Technician Day. We would like to take a moment to recognize the essential role that pharmacy technicians play in the healthcare system.
