“If that was your mom, what would you do?” These words perfectly sum up the inspiration behind the courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment displayed by team members at St. Augustine Plantation during the May tornado emergency in Tallahassee, which damaged the community’s memory support wing. A special ceremony at the community recognized each of the team’s heroes for their extraordinary bravery, with special guest Secretary Michelle Branham of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs – and was the top story on the local 6 o’clock news! https://lnkd.in/gRw3U2kF “Our team demonstrated exceptional courage and dedication in following our inclement weather response plan during the recent tornado outbreak,” said Executive Director Megan Griffin. “As a result, they were able to protect our residents and get them to safety.
