    What Are Spam Traps and How They Affect Email Deliverability?🚨 Spam traps are like digital landmines—email addresses created to catch senders who aren’t playing by the rules.  They’re not used by real people but by ISPs and anti-spam organizations to expose poor email practices. There are two main types:    👉 Pristine spam traps: These are brand-new, never-used emails designed specifically to catch people who harvest or buy lists.   👉 Recycled spam traps: These were once real emails, now repurposed after long periods of inactivity.
