Yesterday, Emerging 100 of Atlanta members and members of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta joined forces with Ralph J. Bunche Middle School to guide students through an authentic voting experience for their SGA elections! 🗳️ Our members served as election monitors and delivered powerful messages, reminding students that their voices matter and that voting is a crucial responsibility. This experience was not only impactful but perfectly timed with our real general elections right around the corner. We’re proud to help cultivate civic awareness in the next generation of leaders! For the Emerging 100 of Atlanta’s October Character Development Session at B.E.S.T. Academy, we partnered with Microsoft to provide our scholars with a comprehensive look into the college admissions process. Admissions representatives from five prominent institutions, along with a panel of current college students, many of whom we mentor through the Collegiate 100, who offered invaluable insights and guidance to our high school mentees. In our ongoing mission to address inequities and bridge the wealth gap affecting African American communities, students were able to ask targeted questions about the admissions process and college in general. A cohort of our APS B.E.S.T. Academy mentees were able to travel to Washington, DC and Gettysburg, PA as part of an annual enrichment field trip with the Gettysburg Foundation! Our mentees saw the several great national monuments and historic places including Soldiers National Cemetery, Gettysburg National Military Park Museum, the Lincoln Cemetery, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture! This trip, which saw upwards of twenty (20) mentees and chaperons travel to two out of state destinations, was funded largely by unrestricted funding provided by our corporate partners and social fundraising patrons. We thank you for your generosity towards the children we serve! As an additional added treat, our Chairman Sid Barron and the team with Asbury Automotive Group secured custom travel luggage for each traveler, which helped these young men travel in style as they flew on Delta Air Lines ——— #Emerging100ATL #MentoringMatters

SUPER SATURDAY! So great to start my weekend with our fantastic People Solutions colleagues at the Emerging 100 of Atlanta Career Summit. We had the privilege of meeting so many talented, driven students, dedicated to pursuing intentional career paths with passion and diligence! I am grateful for each opportunity to share the breadth and depth of our firms service offerings and the CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) commitment to inspiring those who have and will join our family.
