Enhancing the mentoring and tutoring programs of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc.! 💡 At the core of who we are, we MENTOR. Recently, mentors within the Emerging 100 of Atlanta convened at Jones Day to participate in our Mentorship Training! Our brothers are prepared to make a lasting impact on over 200 high school and college students, our mentees. With best practices, resources, and support, they are ready to holistically elevate the next generation through a series of mentoring initiatives. Special thanks to Collegiate 100 Co-Chair Rickey Townsend, M.Ed. (he/him) for crafting and leading a wonderful training that was both engaging and thought-provoking, sparking dialogue and questions to ensure we have heightened mentoring impacts for Atlanta’s youth. Our mentors were also treated to a special set of special remarks from our very own Chairman Sid Barron who spoke to the impact of our continued mentoring efforts and the need for them to continue. We also want to give a deep and heartfelt thank you to Jenn Weizenecker and Antoinette Ellison each attorneys at Jones Day, for graciously hosting us for this very special purpose! ——— #Emerging100ATL
