Making a paws-itve impact! 🐾 Abby, James, and Missy represented us at the Illinois Credit Union League fundraiser for QC Paws. We teamed up with IHMVCU, Vibrant Credit Union, RIA FCU, and MMCU to raise $1000 and fill a car with pet food, cat litter, cleaning supplies, and other shelter necessities. Here's to credit union unity and forever homes for our furry friends! 💚🧡

Had an amazing time hosting a table with Adam Carrier and Caitlin Kalloch representing Empeople Credit Union at the University of Southern Maine’s Husky Festival! 🐾 It was great connecting with students and sharing our financial guidance programs and one-to-one coaching to help them navigate their finances during college and beyond. Join us in celebrating #NationalFoodBankDay! 🎉 This August, our fun-filled Fridays were all about making a difference. From sporting our fave team jerseys to parading around in silly hats, our Empeople came together in the spirit of giving. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve raised a whopping $625 which Empeople doubled up to hit a total of 🌟 $1,250! 🌟 These funds are now headed to help feed local families through River Bend Food Bank and Maine Credit Union League Ending Hunger Campaign. No one should go hungry, so let's keep making a difference, one meal at a time. 🍽️

Heidi Wood, Michelle Pontious, Lindsey Stevens, and Kristy Woodard from the Bangor team were back at Good Shepherd Food Bank in Hampden this week - and they pumped out SIX pallets of boxed food for our friends and neighbors! 🍽️ We are loving our new partnership with Good Shepherd and feel honored to help our communities. We'll be back soon!

Being part of the Women in Sports-themed Portland Sea Dogs baseball game last night was truly inspiring! 🎉 I was honored to be interviewed live by the talented Director of Broadcasting Emma Tiedemann where I shared insights about my role as a Financial Wellness Manager at Empeople Credit Union. We discussed how financial wellness intersects with empowerment, and the ways I support our community from my office on Munjoy Hill. It was an amazing experience to spotlight the importance of financial education, especially during an event celebrating strong women in sports.
