  • After stepping away from her job due to personal challenges, Launa came to employU for help getting back into the workforce. Working with her Employment Specialist Kevin, she was hired at Dunkin’. After just three months, Launa was promoted to Shift Leader. Launa also plans to go back to school and explore her passions, while continuing to grow in her career. We’re so proud of Launa and to be apart of her journey.   • Max recently completed two on-the-job trainings! He worked at the Holiday Inn Express working as a laundry attendant, gaining experience and managing his time. He was responsible for tasks like folding towels and linens, mopping, and sweeping. At the Sheriff's Youth Ranch, he cleaned and organized items on the shelves. Through his persistence, positivity, motivation, and determination he overcame the communication challenges he faced. With the support of his Employment Specialist and Job Coach, Jessie and Chris West, Max has not only developed valuable work skills but also built confidence in himself and his abilities. They say of Max, “Max is an amazing individual. He walks into a room and lights it up with his big smile.
