About us
eNABLE is a global network of volunteers who use 3D printing technology to create free prosthetic hands and arms for people who are missing fingers or limbs. The organization was founded in 2013 and is based on the principles of collaboration, open-source design, and accessibility. eNABLE volunteers, who include engineers, clinicians, and makers from around the world, work together to design, modify, and distribute 3D-printed prosthetics to people in need. The organization has created and donated hundreds of prosthetic devices, and continues to innovate and improve its designs while striving to make prosthetics more accessible and affordable for everyone.
