Energy Fuels is the only company with both conventional and ISR uranium production in the U.S.
About us
Energy Fuels (NYSE MKT UUUU | TSX:EFR) is a leading, US-based, integrated producer of uranium – the fuel for carbon-free, emission-free nuclear energy. Our uranium production portfolio is unique in the World today. Nuclear energy is expected to see strong growth in the coming years, as nations around the World work to provide plentiful and affordable energy, while combating global climate change and air pollution. We utilize both conventional and in-situ recovery (“ISR”) technology and produce uranium from two strategic facilities – the White Mesa Mill in Utah (conventional) and the Nichols Ranch Plant in Wyoming (ISR). Our portfolio also boasts a book of premium-priced sales contracts with major nuclear utilities, an industry-leading U.S.-based NI 43-101 Mineral Resource portfolio among producers, and a pipeline of high-quality, large-scale development and exploration projects. As uranium prices increase, Energy Fuels has the resources and processing capacity to significantly increase uranium production in the U.S. Energy Fuels is also a potential producer of vanadium, as a co-product along with uranium at some of its mines. We have significant high-grade vanadium resources, along with a separate, high-purity vanadium production circuit at the White Mesa Mill. There is a growing potential to use vanadium in the next generation of advanced battery technologies. Energy Fuels is poised to capitalize on this potential opportunity.

Energy Fuels is thrilled to support two new bipartisan bills co-sponsored by Colorado Senator John Hickenlooper, which he announced yesterday at the Critical Minerals Symposium at the Colorado School of Mines, Payne Institute for Public Policy (where Energy Fuels is the Gold Sponsor). We agree with the Senator that the U.S. needs a “Mercury Project” level focus on U.S. domestic #criticalminerals to lead the global energy transition and support U.S. national and economic security. Energy Fuels is moving faster than any other U.S. company in developing a domestic #rareearths supply chain at our facility in #Utah. We applaud Senator Hickenlooper for his leadership in this critical area.

Energy Fuels President & CEO Mark Chalmers will be the keynote speaker at the Critical Minerals Institute (CMI) Summit III with his presentation “Building a Critical Mineral Hubs in North America” on Wednesday, August 21. He will speak following introductory remarks by Debra Porter Bennethum, Director of Critical Minerals and Strategic Supply Chain at Energy Fuels. The presentation will discuss the strategic importance of reimagining traditional ‘western’ business models in the critical minerals industry that has struggled to compete globally and move toward more innovative materials networks to produce sustainable, low-cost supply chains for advanced resources needed for the energy transition. His address will focus on Energy Fuels’ approach to integrating rare earth elements production into its foundational uranium business, positioning the company as a critical minerals’ leader in the United States. He will also highlight the company’s innovative Phase 1 circuit expansion at the White Mesa Mill in Utah, which is the only operating conventional uranium mill in the U.S. and completing commissioning of commercial separation of ‘on-spec’ rare earth elements (REEs). #UUUU #criticalminerals #uranium #rareearthelements #REE #CMI

Join us in celebrating National Nonprofit Day! Communities around the White Mesa Mill deserve to share in the benefits of the Mill’s clean energy future. Since 2021, the San Juan County Clean Energy Foundation (SJCCEF) has been dedicated to investing in the San Juan County community by funding education, environment, health/wellness, and economic advancement efforts. Seeded with $1 million from Energy Fuels, we’ve committed ongoing funding equal to 1% of the White Mesa Mill’s revenues to the Foundation annually. To date, the SJCCEF has granted more than $600,000, supporting local projects that impact residents across San Juan County. Examples of previous grantees include American Indian Services, San Juan School District, Kigalia Fine Arts Council, SEEKHAVEN Family Crisis & Resource Center and the San Juan Foundation.
