Congratulations to porfolio company Xpansiv on their acquisition of PineSpire’s LCFS and REC businesses, expanding their clean energy portfolio. Portfolio company Moleaer Inc. and LØDINGEN JEGER OG FISKEFORENING have announced promising results from their recent collaboration, where cutting-edge nanobubble technology was integrated into a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) at Lødingen Fisk’s Norwegian salmon facility. The implementation of Moleaer’s nanobubbles, which are known for their unique properties in enhancing oxygen transfer and improving water quality, led to significant gains in system efficiency. 💧 According to reports, the facility saw a 23% increase in dissolved oxygen levels, a 30% reduction in water turbidity, and a 70% decrease in nitrite accumulation. Nanobubbles, measuring 80-200 nanometers, remain suspended in water for extended periods, optimizing oxygen dissolution and biofilter performance while improving overall fish health and welfare. The technology has shown potential to lower feed conversion rates, boost fish growth, and reduce operational costs, offering a sustainable solution for the resource-sensitive aquaculture industry. From November, Panasonic will integrate Tado’s Balance smart thermostats and the Heat Pump Optimizer X into its Aquarea air-to-water heat pumps for commercial and multi-dwelling residential applications. ⚡️ Tado's smart technology adjusts heat pump settings to make the most of renewable energy, helping users save on energy costs and lower their carbon footprint. A move that will provide comprehensive end-to-end monitoring, supporting cost-effective, high-quality battery production. Titan's advanced technology allows for real-time, in-line analysis of battery quality, identifying defects that traditional methods might miss. 🔋 The integration of Titan’s technology into Honeywell’s MXP offers visibility into the manufacturing process, enabling battery manufacturers to trace defects faster and improve overall efficiency. This is especially beneficial for early-stage gigafactories that are scaling up to meet the increasing demand for EV batteries. Rather than a break-fix approach, it enables enterprises to proactively assess and efficiently manage their energy-intensive assets. As noted in the press release: "Building a data lake is an achievement but the value is in what you do with the data.
