🌟 Happy New Year 2025! 🌟 The beginning of a new year is the perfect time for reflections and gratitude. For us, 2024 was truly remarkable—full of challenges, learning, and progress in our project. What made it extraordinary was the privilege of collaborating with an incredible army of experts and mentors while participating in numerous acceleration activities: 1️⃣ StartSmart CEE – TOP 10 and a pitch at Demo Day 2️⃣ WorldUpstart USA Gateway – Words cannot express our gratitude to the organizers! 3️⃣ EIT Health HICEE – Healthy Investment Central East Europe – Ongoing! 4️⃣ EIT Health Fast Track to EIC Accelerator – Ongoing 5️⃣ MCSC Mother and Child Startup Challenge – TOP 10 and an award from EIT Health 6️⃣ CatapultX Accelerator 7️⃣ AKCES NCBR – Final 8️⃣ Ready2Scale – Final 9️⃣ Boston MassChallenge – Semifinal In 2024, we also strongly focused on advancing our measurement technology, developing a new and improved version of the electronics, casing, and software. We're preparing to manufacture the next iteration of our product with significant upgrades. Alongside this, we actively promoted our project at various events in Poland and abroad. 🎯 What’s next in 2025? This year, we aim to: - Kick off the certification process for our product, - Prepare for clinical trials, - Expand our patent portfolio, - Submit a grant application to the EIC Accelerator. EFM granted patent in Saudi Arabia covering Mudisocard system! Previously, the company also received a European patent from the European Patent Office. Mudisocard covers full dynamics of the heart including: the heart contraction excitation (ECG), parameters on how the contraction develops (auscultation) and what is contraction effect, i.e. how the chest fluids move (bioimpedance). In between the heartbeats, the device detects air movements in the human chest. Last week we had the opportunity to participate in the final meeting of the Mentoring Programme hosted by OVHcloud! We are pleased to remind you that EFM was one of 51 startups out of nearly 170 that applied for this program. As a laureate, we have an opportunity to expand our infrastructure regarding the Mudisocard solution. We thank OVHcloud  and our mentors Jakub Słociński and Cezary Skarżyński for this opportunity and look forward to make Mudisocard better. The objective of Mudisocard is to analyze the dynamics of the heart. It supports diagnosing Heart Failure and distinguishing it from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in one visit with one test.
