Key insights from this week’s 2024 National Latino Weekly Tracking Poll highlight the dynamics shaping the 2024 Presidential race among Latino voters: 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲: • Kamala Harris leads with 56% support (holding steady). • Donald Trump follows with 33% support (consistent with last week). 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺: • Trump's favorability improved to 40% favorable (56% unfavorable). • JD Vance saw a rise to 33% favorable (46% unfavorable). 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝟭𝟴-𝟮𝟵): • Young Latino men favor Trump at 53%. • Young Latina women prefer Harris at 60%. 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: • 52% of Latino voters have been contacted by political parties. • Democrats reached 57% (down from 66%). • Republicans reached 47% (up from 41%). 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁: • 53% of Latino voters tuned in to the Vice Presidential debate. • Tim Walz was seen as the winner by 45%, while JD Vance was favored by 42%. In partnership with AltaMed Health Services and BSP Research LLC, Entravision is sharing the latest key findings from Week 3 of the 2024 National Latino Weekly Tracking Poll: 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲: 67% of Latino voters are almost certain to vote in November, and 19% probably will. Young voters (18-29) are more engaged this week, with 60% certain to vote (up from 55% last week). 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: 35% of Latino voters feel they lack enough information to make informed decisions. Only 52% of Latino voters have been contacted by campaigns, though GOP outreach is rising. 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 - Economic issues are the most important to Latino voters, especially cost of living/inflation (57%) and jobs (34%). 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀: 66% of Latino voters support Kamala Harris’ economic plan, but only 53% of Independents do. 43% support Donald Trump’s economic message, with higher backing from young voters (54%) and men (53%). Entravision, along with AltaMed Health Services and BSP Research LLC, has released the latest results from the only weekly national poll focused on Latino voters. Here are the key takeaways from Week 2: Presidential Race Stable: Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump among Latino voters 56% to 33%, with 9% still undecided. Parties Need to Do More: Less than half (47%) of Latino voters believe the Democratic Party is doing a good job engaging them. Only 32% feel the GOP is effectively reaching out. Younger Latino Voters Unengaged: Only 55% of younger Latinos (ages 18-29) are "almost certain" to vote, and 46% feel they lack enough information to make a decision. Mail-in Voting Confusion: 21% of Latino voters who plan to vote by mail are unfamiliar with the process, a rise from 11% in Week 1.
