Passionate about supporting women 💃, welcoming entries 🏡, and power tools 🛠️.

Gratitude post. Three years ago tonight, I sat with nervous anticipation, knowing that in less than 12 hours, I would be showing my "baby" to the world. I was about to reveal what I had been working on for five months, often in the middle of the night. What would people think? What would they say? Entry Envy launched on October 1, 2021. My first 25 founding members, who purchased a sign and subscription that month, still mean the world to me. They were the first believers, the early adopters, and they have been cheering me on ever since. And then there’s my mom, Teri Thiele. She has been my rock. We are not the same; in fact, our strengths are quite different, but I couldn’t ask for a better counterpart in the company. Neither could our subscribers—my mother is the reason hundreds of beautifully packaged subscription kits go out the door like clockwork on the 22nd of each month. She and her small but mighty team are crafting queens. And Summer Baldwin —this October marks five years that she has worked with me in one capacity or another. It was a tragedy that brought us together, and we have weathered personal and professional storms over the past five years. Sometimes she feels like an older daughter who is a friend, sometimes like a sister, but always a loyal team member. I could go on and on about the amazing women who work with me. It is an honor and privilege to hire women, build a culture where we all want to work, watch a company come to life, have customers in every state (including the USVI), and wake up every day to do what I love—learning, building, and strategizing. I am incredibly grateful for all the support—friends, family, team members, customers, coaches, the entire startup ecosystem in Nebraska, EOA, Pipeline, and future opportunities that I don’t even know about yet, which are waiting for me. I am not entirely sure where this road is going, but it’s a beautiful ride, and I just keep driving. My intuition tells me I am unquestionably on the right path. I stop for gas when I need to. I get a few flat tires here and there. But there are more sunny days and blue skies than anything else. I meet a lot of really awesome people along the way—especially on the rainy days. I love this drive, I really do. I should stop and take more pictures. I know when I get to where I’m going, I will look back and realize the time went by all too fast. Thank you to everyone for all of your support. Happy three years to Entry Envy and cheers to all the adventures ahead!

Working professionals are busy and need life hacks to look like they are holding it all together, even when it may not feel that way! Entry Envy is one of those hacks that makes your front porch look fabulous—who cares what's going on on the other side of the door? 🤣 Just ask Sally, a proud member of Entry Envy, who loves her kit because of how easy it is to use and how it gives her home a unique touch of her personality! 🥰 I've got you, ladies—two minutes per month, and your front porch is ready for the next holiday or season!

For those of you who are new here, allow me to introduce myself! I founded Entry Envy in Omaha, Nebraska to help others create a welcoming entry with simplicity and convenience while identifying their home for guests and delivery drivers. My inspiration came from my own home that had outdated and hard-to-read house numbers. I went to work with skills learned from my father who is a retired carpenter, and mother who is as creative as Martha Stewart. As a full-time working mom, time was short, but I always took time to mark the celebration of the upcoming holiday by decorating my front porch, feeling proud of my entry, and helping to create traditions with my two girls to mark the passage of time which we all know goes too quickly. Let me know in the comments how you landed on Entry Envy. I can't wait to get to know you!

I love walking up to someone's front door and feeling welcomed even before they open it. Naturally, I wanted to create something special that would greet my guests before I could even get there. That's why we take so much pride in allowing you to customize your sign to your liking. Comment 'start' to choose your sign and make it as personal and fabulous as you'd like! #entrydecor #entryenvy #frontporch #homedecor #fauxfloral #subscriptionkits #customentrysigns #entrysignrefills

iThinkFit Gym has been my sanity check for the past decade. If you follow me personally, you know how I feel about my workouts and how closely they are tied to my mental health. My workouts are almost non-negotiable and consistently the best “drug” to manage stress. Heath Murray always says, “Get to camp!” and the Entry Envy sign by the door makes me smile when I read it. 😃 After my workout this morning, I switched out the decor in less than two minutes. I try to keep it a little less girlie here! 💪

Sometimes it feels like you can do networking meetings forever and not have tangible results. And then there are situations like this… I met Sally Vandeberghe through Center Sphere, LLC; The Network at one of my first meetings a couple of years ago. She asked me to have a 1:1, and from that single conversation, I hired her daughter Dillon, who has worked with us for over two years, and later partnered with her other daughter as an affiliate. I also gained Sally as a member of Entry Envy, and she is one of the biggest cheerleaders for the company out there. 🥰 Talk about a networking meeting that was worth its weight in gold! Thank you for all of your support, Sally!

As an entrepreneur, when you start a company, you wear all the hats. As the company grows, you often don’t get to do “the thing” that you actually love anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I love running a company, but every once in a while, I still love to get my hands dirty and do the work. It also allows me to reconnect with our processes and check our QC. #worthit
