Tomorrow, we celebrate the tenth anniversary of Lehigh Valley Polo, the Lehigh Valley’s only benefit polo match and the largest annual fundraiser for Equi-librium. We expect record-breaking attendance and to meet this year’s fundraising goals thanks to the unwavering and enthusiastic support of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers. All event proceeds benefit equine-assisted programs and services for individuals with physical, developmental, and mental health challenges. Support from Lehigh Valley Polo helps to keep these programs accessible for those with the greatest need while also maintaining the highest standards in safety, facilities, and horse care and training. VIP and General Admission tickets will be available at the gate tomorrow. Gates open at the beautiful Braden Airpark at 11:00 am, with the match beginning at 1:00 pm. Throughout the next week, we will be sharing information about our upcoming Lehigh Valley Polo 10th anniversary event. There are many ways to enjoy the Lehigh Valley's only benefit polo match, and we'll be highlighting a few of them! .::TAILGATE::. Looking for all of the fun without the frills? Our tailgate package is an affordable way to make the event whatever you wish. From lawn chairs and pop-up tents to extravagant theming and attire, you'll see it all on Tailgate Row! Tailgaters get a reserved 10x10 spot on the Tailgate Row, complete with signage provided by us. Tailgaters typically bring a tent, chairs, tables, food, and beverages. Food and drinks will also be available to purchase at the event. Tailgaters are welcome to decorate their tent, which will automatically enter you into our Tailgate Contest sponsored and judged by Lehigh Valley Style. Tailgate packages include (4) general admission tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased, and guests may be admitted to your space at your discretion. Tailgate Row offers convenient parking, port-a-potties, and a perfect view of the polo field. All general admission guests have access to our Marketplace Tent and food truck. Earlier this week, Equi-librium Board Member Wenda Boyer and Lehigh Valley Polo Enthusiast David Yanoshik joined "A Closer Look with Laurie Hackett" on WDIY 88.1 FM to talk about the impact of Lehigh Valley Polo to our organization and the community as whole. Now in it's 10th anniversary year, and as Equi-librium's largest annual fundraiser, Lehigh Valley Polo plans to bring in 700-800 attendees and $100,000 for equine-assisted services at Equi-librium. For over two decades Renzo has been participating in Equine Therapy at Equi-librium, Inc. Renzo and his parents agree that this has been the most important therapy he has. Since 2,000, Renzo has participated in adapted riding, carriage driving, and equine assisted movement which all bring him great joy. Renzo lights up when he sees his horses, his instructors, and the volunteers. This year, Renzo was honored at Equi-librium's Derby Day's with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Congratulations Renzo!
