Reflecting on the recent IBC, it’s clear this annual sojourn to Amsterdam remains a pivotal player in Evergent Technologies Inc.'s journey. Each year, this event brings fresh energy and new milestones, but the 2024 edition felt like a turning point. This year truly represented how far we’ve come as a company—having established ourselves as a proven leader in the industry, backed by an incredible team and technology trusted by some of the world’s most iconic brands.
Sharing that learned expertise on stage with leaders such as Phil Wiser and Anshul Kapoor and engaging in meaningful discussions about the evolution of D2C business models was a reminder of the impact we’re making. Such an opportunity didn’t just explore the latest in hybrid monetization, cloud, and AI; it was a testament to the knowledge we’ve built and the value we bring. Teaming up with Ashish Patel, Igor Oreper and Peter Docherty to address the challenges of TV platform deployments was another highlight—real, practical conversations leading to new ideas and insights for everyone involved.
Beyond these sessions, it was the moments of conference connection that stood out. Whether it was supporting the LGBTQI community at the IBC Pride Happy Hour, celebrating our wonderful customers and partners with delightful evening engagements or enjoying the variety of fun and fabulous happy hours, including joint affairs with our partners at MediaKind and Irdeto, these experiences reminded me of the strength of our community and the partnerships we continue to build.
Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of how Evergent has evolved. We’ve grown from a rising player to a trusted leader, managing relationships with over 800 million users in 180+ countries for companies including the NBA, Fox, Sony Pictures, BritBox, and MSG Networks. Our AI-driven insights, flexible monetization, and data-driven solutions are helping media companies and sports brands maximize profitability and tackle churn. I can’t wait to see where the journey takes us next.
Lastly, my congratulations to the entire Evergent team for their ongoing dedication and hard work, always on display yet most recently recognized publicly with our latest batch of product honors, this time with CSI Award and TV Tech Best of Show Award wins for our advanced churn management and video QoE collaboration with Mux.
