We were proud to recently support the Indiana Association for Adult and Continuing Education (IAACE) and their Conference for Adult Continuing Education. Since January 2004, we have collaborated with the IAACE to present the Everwise Meritorious Service Award, which recognizes an individual who has made a "significant and meritorious contribution" to the field of adult and continuing education and to the mission of IAACE. 🤝 Jeff S., Everwise Member Financial Wellness Director; and Donna Daniel, the manager of our Allisonville Branch; had the honor of attending this western-themed conference and presenting the award to Daniela Mancusi-Shreve, who has served the adult education community for nearly 22 years, along with being actively engaged as an IAACE member for 20 years. 🎓 Congratulations to Daniela for this well-deserved achievement! Another successful Everwise Day of Giving in the books! 🎉 Earlier this week, nearly 650 employees dedicated their time and talent to provide hands-on support to approximately 45 organizations across Indiana and southwest Michigan. 🤝 Our employees engaged in activities that included: 🥫 Packing boxes of food for the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank, Million Meal Movement, and Food Bank of Northern Indiana (where Arriell Drayton from WBND ABC57 paid us a visit to interview Brandon Demitruk!) 🌱 Outdoor projects and equipment preparation for the winter season for South Bend Venues Parks and Arts (Howard Park) 🐶 Cleaning cages, feeding, watering, and walking animals at FULTON COUNTY ANIMAL ADOPTION AND EDUCATION CENTER INC, Pet Refuge, and All 4 Animals Rescue 🍽️ Sorting donations and meal preparation for clients of St. Margaret's House 🧵 Making fleece blankets for RMHC Michiana as a donation to the Children’s Hospital 🎁 Preparing care packages, writing personal notes, and making fleece blankets for clients of Phil's Friends We could not be more proud of their efforts to make a positive difference in the communities we serve.
