We’re thrilled to announce our $22.5M Series A led by Redpoint, with participation from Y Combinator, Okta Ventures, Base10 Partners, and Formus Capital. This fresh round of capital will enable us to expand our back office suite, introducing the first free incorporation solution. Every (YC S23) has raised a $22.5M Series A to build the first all-in-one back office built for founders. Since launching 15 months ago, they have added over 150 customers. Founders usually have to stitch together 5+ different systems to run their HR and Finance workflows. With Every, a founder has everything they need to run their company in one place — including banking, payroll, benefits, accounting and taxes. With the new funds, Every is going to bring the first free incorporation product to the market. Tech founders will be able to incorporate and set up their entire back office with the click of a button. Most founders learned of the Benjamin Cheever story where he doubled shampoo sales by adding one word to the directions on the back of the bottle... Repeat. Founders know about this because they thrive on learning and being curious. This same curiosity likely caused them to see a problem in the world, develop a related skillset, and set out to solve it by starting a company. The success of that company will depend primarily on their ability to execute the founder directions: learn, iterate, repeat. Founders don't have time to become administrators. Rajeev Behera and I set out to solve this and free founders from being the conduit between a barrage of point solutions. We recognize that every moment for a founder needs to be spent on their customers and their product. We started Every.io to keep founders focused on the problems they set out to solve, not how to setup payroll, manage benefits, or deal with bookkeeping.
