About us
We believe relationships are central to everything an organization is or achieves. We guide organizations to increase their capacity for excellence and innovation by developing relationships in which every individual values themselves and each other. We are a team of experienced professionals who come from Government, Fortune 500 Companies, and Small Business. We have run our own companies, started private non-profit organizations, and worked our way into key management positions within organizations that we have served. We have pounded the pavement selling products and services and soared the skies flying worldwide missions as part of the US Military. We have functioned in organizational roles that include: President, Owner, Chief Financial Officer, Superintendent of Recruiting and Retention, Training Officer, Aircraft Commander, Training Director, Data Analyst, and Military Officer. Center for Internal Change is a division of The TEAM Approach®. We have experienced team synergy and team conflict. We have participated in quality teams and counterproductive teams, sales teams and dream teams, teams that did not know that they were teams, and teams that rose to the occasion. We have witnessed teams that played hard ball and teams that supported and encouraged each member to use their unique strengths to help the organization win. We know that there are specific elements that contribute to superior team performance and that there are other elements that contribute to costly losses in output and process. We know that positive relationships are the real key to success!

Recently, our team member Brian Miller wrote an article discussing how Everything DiSC® helped him to understand his neurodiversity. Brian was fortunate enough to attend a talk with Melissa A. Walker, Ph.D. at the Association for Talent Development (ATD)'s conference in New Orleans this past May. He later spoke to her at her book signing. Her book, "Beyond Diversity Embracing Neurodiversity for Organizational Success" really resonated with him and led him to a more introspective look at his own struggles with #ADHD in the workplace. Brian also reached out to the Director of Product Development at Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand, Mark Scullard, to talk to him about their research and findings. We hope you'll give Brian's article a read. Let us know what you think in the comments below. https://lnkd.in/exQNpk6q

It’s #backtoschool time! The Student Success team at Dickinson College prepared for the arrival of their students by entrusting us to facilitate a DiSC® Workplace team-building workshop last week. We appreciated the opportunity to work with your talented and dedicated team! DiSC Workplace is a particularly excellent team-building program because it begins by enhancing self-awareness and then allows the team to leverage those individual strengths to build team cohesion. It works well with teams of all sizes! #workplaceculture #communicationskills

In a recent State of Teams report, 99% of respondents surveyed said they were a good team member. If this was the case, then team-based issues wouldn't exist, right? Adam Stamm wrote an article on this very topic. In his blog Adam explores how this mental bias can prevent team growth. He explores the Dunning-Kruger effect on team performance, Mistrust on teams, and Team Accountability.
